It is a Puglia that amazes more and more what can be discovered thanks to the S.A.C. project La Via Traiana , including free exponential activities that include themed visits, workshops, sets, exhibitions and multimedia installations until October 2018. The protagonists are the municipalities of Ostuni, Brindisi, Carovigno, Ceglie Messapica, Fasano, San Vito dei Normanni, in the Regional Natural Park of Coastal Dunes and in the Natural Reserve of the State of Torre Guaceto where every weekend there is a rich panorama of free activities designed for every age to discover the cultural and naturalistic beauties.
The Via Traiana Project
So, thanks to scenography and innovative multimedia installations, the project aims to bring the public of all ages closer to art, history, nature and places of the Apulian territory with imagination and creativity. To accompany visitors are the guides of the Cooperative System Museum System, ready to satisfy all the curiosities of the participants who can thus deepen the knowledge of the territory and the places they visit thanks to experiences that make them active protagonists. Each activity in the program is designed to enhance the peculiarities of each municipality.
These include the interactive guided tours that lead to the discovery of the military architecture of the ramparts and the walls of Brindisi with workshops on photographic techniques, ancient statuary art or with the simulation of the mooring of a Roman ship at the Museo Archeologico F. Ribezzo . The appointment with the story is in Ostuni to discover the oldest pregnant woman in the world, in Fasano at the Torre Canne Lighthouse and among the ruins of the Archaeological Park of Egnazia where you can admire the virtual reconstruction of the Tomb of the Pomegranates, up to the Castle of Carovigno with the magic of the multimedia narrative of Countess Elisabetta Dentice di Frasso.
And then the gastronomic-theatrical workshops on flavors and moments of past life such as the exciting team game at Ceglie Messapica , with a culinary challenge on the recipe of the typical biscuit. A San Vito dei Normanni protagonists are the musical instruments of the pizzica, in a path between theory and multimedia. There are also paths on environmental sustainability for those who love nature: they can be undertaken at the Morelli River aquaculture facility in the Regional Park of the Coastal Dunes, with the fascinating production cycle of eel, and in the suggestive State Natural Reserve. of Torre Guaceto.
